if you could get a ford body with a cummins in it a allison transmission it would be the baddest truck on road . but i heard a rummor ford is going to put cummins in there trucks when there contract runs out does anybody know anything about that or jus a rummor

I heard ford bought cummins but found out that cummins had a life long contract with dodge so they had to sell it back...
kinda sounds stupid to me... but idk

ford bought about a 15-20 percent share of Cummins in the early 90's they shortly sold off those shares.

i know some one who has almost that package, he has a 12valve cummins mated to an allison 1000 tranny in a old gm shop truck.
