Although its been 15 years I have a background with centrifuges and its amazing the amount of sub-micron particles that can be spun out of used motor oil even after being filtered down with 1 micron filtration system..........so with that being said has anyone ever used a centrifuge on there filtered WMO to actually see the particulant?????????

 

yes! now use centrifuge on all WMO and WVO

Whitty... You right on this subject... Also there is another subject to think about is the amount of ASH and SOOT that's in the oil... Now the soot might come out with a centrifuge system but the ash won't. ASH is organic metals that are desolved in the WMO/WEO. These come out as a white deposit on piston crowns and injector tips...

WEO/WMO can be used but even Cmmins does suggest above 5% by volume... (1.75 Gallons MAX)
