Default Impossible Combination?

Does anyone with a Short bed, with A Stack, or two stacks, pull a 5th wheel? I really want a stack on my truck, just offset from center towards the passenger side, but I pull a 5th wheel, and I Dont know if it will fit..

Do any of you stack owners have short beds and pull 5th wheels? Help please!

I don't have a stack or a 5th wheel, but what I do have for you is a simple way to test and see if you have enough room to clear it. Figure out what size stack you would like to run, find a cardboard shipping tube that is as close to the same diameter as the stack. Tape it to the bed where you had in mind to put the stack, and then hook your trailer up and see if it clears. Hope that is of some help.

im going to say that it should clear just fine for the simple fact that your fifth wheel trailer shouldnt be that close to your truck in the first place and if your turning you would prolly hit the cab befor the stack. but that is my opinion i would be on the safe side and try the carboard tube first

It may come down to getting some ABS pipe and doing some testing

Well, I have to hook up in the morning and drag the camper to another jobsite down around McAlester.. I will definately do some testing.. I think I have a 5' Piece of 6" PVC, oh and 3 sons.. Surely one of them can hold it still while I try to hit it with the front of the camper..

Thanks ya'll..

I will let you know the outcome!

I think you should be fine there should be plenty of room, the only thing is the front of your camper will be black. Im pretty sure my friend pulled a 5th wheel with his dodge when he had stacks. he has a 6ft bed also.
