2006 Duramax
Just wanting to find out a few things about my duramax.
I have the edge evolution on my truck and recently had to have the egr changed and when that was done they re-flashed my ecm which made my mpg's go way down, I went from 24 mpg to about 18-19 mpg's. Can anyone help me understand why this has happened?

I'm not real sure why it dropped so much. I would guess that maybe they increased the amount of time that the EGR is opened into the intake??
It's funny that your Edge isn't overriding that flash anyway.
You can always lose the EGR function with a blocker plate and finger stick.

I believe thats a hit or miss type deal with the EGR's. Some people say they gained a few MPG, and some lost a few.. either way.. I PROMISE you, one of the best things you can do it block that EGR..
