Default In Search Of A Donor For A "Heart Transplant"

I am in search of a cummins 4bt. From what I have gathered on this site and others, the "UPS-type" delivery vans often had this engine in it. I have tried to search for this kind of van on ebay and other sites but do not know the exact name of this vehicle. I have tried "panel van" and "box van" and "delivery van" but to no avail. Can someone give me some suggestions on what to search for? or for sites or places to look to find one of these second hand.

www.4btswaps.com -- in the classifieds
www.dovebid.com -- auction site where you can find a lot of frito lay bread vans or chip trucks

or if you are near ohio I can give you the name of a guy with a handfull of 4bt engines, with either gm auto adapter plate or ford manual adapter plate.

you also mite keep an eye out on some industrial applications also, some trenchers and massey ferguson tractors, and a handfull of others also uses the 4bt as a power plant,

thousands of case backhoes and skid loaders used the 4bt with the A-pump. Not the best choice but they can be made to work. I have a buddy that has an old mitsubishi genset diesel in a 74 international .. tricky to drive but he gets along pretty well.

Another thought .. if you need parts dont bother going to cummins. You can get all the 4bt stuff from any Case Industrial/Construction dealer much cheaper.

kind of tough to help you search not knowing where in the world you are located, I always ty searching near and hope to find in range of picking up to avoid the added cost of shipping, and being able to see it before it shows up in a box, in a hundred pieces, dealing with a seller that says it was 100% assembled when I shipped it >>>>>>>>>> so where are ya and let me see what I can find.

oh yeah, you can look on the 4btswaps board, then go to vendors and call Scott at Tennesse Diesel Conversions.
