Default Ran My Cummins For First Time Tonight

was at the local track as they had alky funny cars and it was also streen night so I figured for 10 bucks why not have a lil fun. first pass was my best 15.561 at 87.38 didn't boost it very much off start as stock output. I was happy with that didn't think it would run better than a low 16. was in 2wd too. 3rd pass was 1/8th mile burn out finally got it too hook after that run a whopping 23.109 at 69.34. other times 15.903 86.87 15.999 86.71 and a 17.14 85.55 right after launch bad tire spin took 3 tries to hook again. went to try a 4wd pass but had some clicking when pulled up so to be safe just stayed in 2wd. run a 6.0 twice first time I run a 16.36(no boost on launch) to his 16.48 next was a 15.99 to 17.79 he had major spin past the lights I had to back off once and then I was good. his best time before I left was a 15.83. was a lot of fun. didn't think my truck blew that much smoke

didn't think it was too bad for a 1legger 2wd run stock auto turbo. nice part is the track in redding runs a street night almost every sat night 10 bucks at gate 10 to run and you get a lot of passes. and keeps racing off street

With full Tq management lock in the 4x4 and hold it to the floor there is no way you should break an output shaft, but I have seen it happen I guess. I ddint break mine till I launched with a smarty and no tq management.

I will try that next time out. it was a lot of fun but a whole different feeling than when I was running my 65 nova just grab transbreak and go. no spooling the turbo etc. surprised a few people out there with my truck though
