can you EFI Live a 2005 VW Passat with the 2.0 liter engine. if not are they thinking about coming out with one. if EFI live doesnt work what is a good tuner out there

 

2005 VW TDI is still a 1.9L PD motor is it not? That said, I don't think you will be lucky with that but I could be wrong.

 

As far as I know, there is no current support from EFI Live for the VW's..

I didnt see any ontheir site either..

i thought it was a 1.9 liter but the dealership said it was a 2.0 liter and buckshotmuckee said it was too. i dont understand why they made a bigger motor for the passat since it only has like 20 more horsepower than 1.9 liter so i dont know. just looking to make more power and smoke.

 

2005 Passat IS a 2.0 134HP Diesel. I haven't been able to find custom tune type software like EFI for any of the VW TDIs.

Well when other vehicle companies make EFI thats comparable to GM then maybe

 

EFI Live started out as a Corvette tuning software. But since all gms run the same processors/ecms for their vehicles...they could tune the ecm of the dmax as well.
