Default Another fun picture....

Just picked up my dads truck from the trans shop.. His trans went out at 106k miles on his 04.5 CTD 3500 dually auto 4x4... He is back at his property in missouri, and he had his trans guys rebuild it (to the hilt) here in california. Turns out the guys at banks installed something wrong on the billet torque converter about 3 months back when he had it there... so Banks warrantied the TC and gave his tranny guy a brand new one, and paid for half of the trans rebuild. I think it was mighty nice of em to do that, considering the trans was on its last legs before the TC was put in Anyway, I brought it home tonight, and it shifts like a ****! I backed it next to my truck on the parking deck and thought it looked really neat.. So here are a couple pics. His truck is the dually, mine is the SRW. Its funny how different, yet similar our trucks are. same color, but he runs an auto, I run a 6 spd, he has a dually, and I have a SRW. He bought his used, I bought mine new. LOL.. Lots of fun stuff.. anyway.. enough rambling... on to the pics:

It is one SWEET brush guard. I will ask him the company that he bought it from.. With any luck, he'll be registered here shortly. I know he looked at it on ebay, then bought straight from the seller without going through ebay.

That thing is sick looking. I really want one. I had one on my old powerchoke and loved the way it protected the front end as well as look good. The one that he has fully covers everything. I wouldn't mind havin to spend more for one like that.

I know that the lower smaller piece was seperate from the big upper guard. I have the truck here at my house. I will go out there now and see if I can find a brand on it for you. He bought it because he travels from california to missouri once a month, and wanted protection from deer and stuff.. He said its REALLY beefy, and I think it looks really nice.

Ok guys.. a little research I found the company that makes em. T&H brush guards.. here is one link I found that sells em. The part numbers for the small lower guard and large main guard on my dads truck are:
21416128- Big main guard

See if you can find out where the two pieces came from. I like the little one too, it would protect my running lights mounted on the lower valance. Thanks.
