My old man has a mint 91 3500 4wd with a 360 and I can get a 92 5.9 2500 2wd. Can you put the 5.9 on the tranny off the gasser?

 

Is your trans. auto or manual? I think you need an adapter for the auto. But If I remember correctly for the auto you need a diesel trans. it is different from the gas. I believe you can make the gas auto work but I dont know what you need to change in it plus the adapter. I think www.dieseltruckresource.com might cover that information.
