help wont start

I have a 93 Dodge D350, when i bought the truck the own had rewired the whole truck off the computer. The truck ran great, I had to park it for a about 3 years due to a sickness. I tried to start it after draining the tank and putting fresh diesel in it, and getting all the air out of the lining it wouldn't start. its getting fuel to it when i check it, I started it once and drove it down the street but it died and I towed it home. I haven't got it started again, I have been putting new parts on it with the same result not starting. please help
