hi looking for help. Truck went into reduce power mode. Had egr codes a while back then I cleared them and no issues for awhile. Scanner now says p2463 dpf but truck will not do a regen. I clear code and it comes right back. Anyways I unplugged egr wire while truck is running and no difference. Will bad egr valve cause this. First diesel I’ve owned bought used and has 108 k on it. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you for the response. No I don’t is that the scanner where you can do a Manuel regen? I was thinking about buying one because ford wants 260.00 to do it.

Some bi-directional scanners can force a regen. Some cannot.

Also so you will need a scanner that can read the enhanced powertrain parameters.
