I've been lurking here for a while. I have 2 diesel conversions. The first is my ole Brownie truck. She is a 1984 C30 Duallie that had a bad 454 in it when I got her for 300.00. picked up a 6.2 and a 700R4 for her, and she is now my daily driver. I don't really pull too much with her, so I set her up for economy, and average around 20+ mpg out of her.
My other truck is the Green Goblin. She is a 95 F350 crew cab duallie with a 3 inch lift kit. The powerstroke went bad, and the previous owner swapped in a 6.6 Brazilian with a 545 Allison and a divorced auxillary overdrive. Still got a few things to finish up on her before she is a daily, but hope to get it done this week. Anyway, I'll be picking some brains, and adding any knowledge I have pickup up to the discussions.
