Dont know if anyone can help me , ive just replaced my 8.2ltr Detroit with a second hand engine , I had to swap alot of parts from my old engine to this present engine like water pump , fuel governed etc , ive just looked at my water pump pulley and crankshaft pully , and the grooves from one pully dose not align with the other and I cant work out why, ive measure the width of the crankshaft pully compares to my old crank and they look identical . Is it possible to put spacers behind the water pump pully to bring I out about 1qtr inch so the grooves of pullys line up with each other
