Well Ive been reading for the past 2 years and finally going to jump in and start modifying the Cummins.

Little background of myself... Age 29, purchased my first diesel - 1999 ram 3500 2wd dually with nv4500 5 years ago. Purchased it for 4k as a motor and tranny donor for my 1955 Chevy pick up truck and have been rebuilding areas that fall apart on it until I get the 55 restored. Cummins has 370k miles on her, lost the hx35 turbo so I replaced it with a he351 last year. Only upgrades I have is the different turbo, a BD 3 piece exhaust manifold and a quadzilla xzt+. Keeping it very simple and calm for now but starting with fresh overhaul on the motor come spring. Then I'll be looking for 500hp.
