I’m having some issues with my coolant temp gauge working intermittently, it’ll warm up slowly with normal driving but as soon as it reaches operating temp it starts hunting, dropping to rest position and then coming back for a second and then drop off again, any ideas on the cause? It also seems to directly affect the ac, the ac starts running the compressor when the gauge is reading but when it stops reading the compressor stops.
