Hi Bombers,

The sport decal makes it look like a Dakota

I'm Lukas OldNewb from San Diego.

Been driving a black 01 f150 5speed 4.6 stepside since 2011. Great truck for a gas, simple, dependable, 0 maintenance.
F150

Just got my first Diesel a black 99 LWB 24V 5speed 4wd Laramie 6 inch lift on 37's inch Cooper A/t's I think.

I have a very new very small 100% legal Ca. moving company. I don't own a moving truck, yet, and rent from Uhaul, a lot, and offer a truck and trailer option for really small moves

The -f150 was getting beat up towing as often as we are. I spent a couple months looking for the perfect truck under $15k and I found her in Salt Lake (Orem) at idrive Utah

Freshish black paint, black leather seats in good condition. Beautiful brand new 18 inch wheels and 37 inch tires. Edge attitude II ,, 235k miles. Advertised for 12,999.

So I make it to Utah and the suspension and bearings are shot so I get her for $10.5k.

Obviously some younger dude was smashing in this truck but I'm just glad it's not stock. Stock is not my style

In so Cal everything Diesel is expensive so I think I got a good deal and with the brand new wheels and tires.

Got some leaks fixed with a harmonic balancer change and a general inspection at Matt's Caddy Shack in El Cajon. Still a couple leaks to take care of.

Swapped the starter solenoid, order from larryb's, decided to tighten whatever bolts I can find and got a quick drain oil valve.

With the crappy suspension and bad carrier bearings I don't drive her very hard and refrain from blowin big clouds of smoke.

I got some 97 f350 knuckles coming for a locking hub conversion from eBay and a bunch of other parts to get now too.

Life's amazing, recent married and now with a 10 month old boy and 7yo step daughter.
Durrrrrdddrrrrr

Time to start having some fun, get some toys and go to the desert or something.

Thanks everyone for letting me join. Please be patient, my wife says I tend to miss the obvious and my grammer sucks.

Sincerely,

Lukas
