92 7.3 IDI, glow plug lamp not lighting
Hey all!
I brought Binky home yesterday after some effort getting it started.
It's an ex-govt. rig with only got 55K miles on it but 5300 hours. When I go to start it, the glow plug lamp just flicks on briefly.
It cranked well, but no start. A quick shot of ether and it fired right up and ran perfect the rest of the day.
Warm starts fired immediately.
So, before I rip off the dog house to start ohming glow plugs, does anyone have a sure answer to what would do this?
