Hard start and dies after a couple seconds
i have a 2004 f-350 with a lot of upgrades..we just put a new bottom end in the truck.when first was done would crank but smoke white and idle rough.then shut off and wouldn’t crank so we had injector codes showing so changed ficm and battery’s,now the truck cranks and kills after a few seconds.only codes are 2 glow plugs and egr delete codes,if try and give it gas it dies..didn’t know if this could be an icp issue.any help greatly appreciated

I been fighting same issue for week. I unplugged ICP samething. I checked wiring chaffing, nothing. I checked key on fuel pressure, was filling up filter housing. I would try to crank truck every day and look for something. Finally truck would let me hold throttle down and held to 4000 rpms for 15 secs. By then I was ready to blow the motor up and be down. Truck been running great. I have no idea what fixed the truck.
