I was wondering what would be better to go with a hx35 or a hx40 to put on my 6.5 turbo diesel and what all I should do to it to handle it

 

You should probably clarify what year and model 6.5l you have mechanical injection or electronic injection as this would make a difference and whether or not head gaskets have been replaced recently also keep in mind you still would have to regulate boost to under 15psi.

 

It's a 1996 6.5 the motor has recently been replaced and has about or less than 40000k on it and yes I will probably set it too about 10-12 psi and it has electronic injection
