I've been having some intermittent idle issues and have found and fixed several chaffed wires. With the engine running i was wiggling the wiring harness and unplugging sensors to try and duplicate the idle issue. When i got to the eot sensor and unplugged it the engine revved up to 3000 rpm, scared the hell out of me. Just wondering if this is normal? The truck is a 04 6.0 with the vxap2n2 strategy that uses inferred ebp. I have replaced sensors and pigtails for icp, eot. Only code is #4 contribution for a weak injector.
