Default 2008 2500 cummins biggest tire size

I've been wanting to put bigger tires on my truck and was wanting to go big as I can with out any rubbing at all and no lift?

really depends on backspacing of your wheels- 33x12.5x17 is the largest without rubbing- you can stuff 35's but may have a bit of kiss at full lock.

exactly, I have 35's on mine. stock, and there is a little rub when the wheel is fully turned to either side. thinking about a leveling kit, wonder if that would solve my rubbing problem.

The leveling kit won’t hurt- the rubbing usually happens on the control arms. You would need to change those out to ensure no rubbing. Leveling kit sure does make it look nice for the money

The problem is even with a leveling kit the controls arm lengths aren't compensated for, so you still end up with contact issues on the bottom of the body (depending on the wheel offset. I have 35's on a leveling kit a with a pretty aggressive offset and still have some trimming to do.
