So I bought a first gen. It would be fun they said.. and to be honest, it ain't bad .. but one this is irking me..


I have a part number 1830497c92. I keep getting DT466e back from google searches but can't find any info on it, not that I'd even know what to do with that info if I had it. I have a hx35 from the truck from what I was told (thrown in the bed as "extra parts" from purchase).

Either way.. what would be the benefit of the international school bus turbo over stock? It's a hodge podge hinky looking setup in my eyes. Any ideas?

 

Try to find out the size of the exhaust housing. Should be raised cast number near the flange that mates to the exhaust manifold.

If it has a wastegate, there's a good chance it a smaller housing... so will spool quick.
