Just bought a 2001 cummins and it's an automatic buts it's an H.O. the sticker on the engine says 245 HP and 505lbs torque that's H.O. numbers and I've never seen one in a automatic only 6 speeds and every thing says they were only available in a 6 speed. Has anyone else ever seen a H.O. automatic?

 

They never made a HO auto. I would guess one of two things. Either they swapped in a HO motor after the first one let go, or someone put the badges of a HO on it. Im leaning more towards the first one.
