Default Intercooler boot popped off, oil poured out...

The boot connecting the turbo to the first pipe to the intercooler popped off while pulling a trailer up a hill, I barely made it home (no power...) and it looks like a ton of oil fell out of the tube/turbo down there.

Presumably this is bad, but what should I do? It looks like a rebuilt turbo runs $1700 and a rebuild kit is $75 at autozone, would that be all I need, anything to watch out for?

Thanks for any help!

The hx35 isn't to bad of a rebuild. There are many videos on YouTube that will walk you through the whole process. If you don't think you can do it either send it to a turbo shop or find a used turbo. $1700 is highway robbery.
