shopping for a cummins, with VID
So I've been considering switching from my 6.0 psd to a 5.9 cummins, and I've found one I like, but it's got a weird lope in the idle. I'm not too familiar with cummins diesels, but it sounds different than ones I've heard in the past.
Does the idle sound off to your more experienced ears?

Sounds pretty loopy to me for idle. Any upgrades/mods done? My 06 will loop like that when it's cold and I am in reverse only. Once warm it is fine- that's with 100hp injectors and EFI tune- rail pressure about 9k psi in reverse.
