Default Dodge rear end help

Straight to the question. I'm ordering a Eaton true Trac. Dodge 2500 have dana 70/80 hybrid rear ends. The axles are 70s but the gears are 80s (or so the internet has told me) so do I order for the 70 size or 80 size?

Order the part # that matches your cast center section... i.e. ring gear size. They're 35 spline either way.

I'm not a true-trac fan. Too much $$$ for not enough traction. My buddy's from his 3rdgen sits under his workbench because he upgraded to a Grizzly. The factory powr-lok isn't bad if you get one free/cheap but after that, I go to a lunchbox locker minimum.

Previous owner welded the diff so I'm just trying to fix it before it self destructs.
