Hey guys what's happening. I wanted to see if any body had any thoughts on my best choice here I recently totaled my truck in a snow storm and bought it back off the insurance company the power train is fine in it and I was wondering how hard it would be to put it into a blown up 6.4 or 5.4 for that matter. Or would I be better off buying a 7.3 with high miles and know I have a back up motor.just want to get sum ideas for the next truck thanks for any help and suggestions

 

personally i would buy another 7.3. swapping it into another pickup will be a ton of work and headache

 

Yea that was my defualt I mean there's no way I'm driving around with anything under the hood besides a 7.3 . I just didn't no if by some act of god it would only be a minor headache to swap cause the new interiors are so much nicer and my old truck had a lot more road noise than my brothers 6.4. But I do understand that my motor is a lot louder Than his. Thanks for the advice
