Default Cummins Question..
Can any harm be caused by cranking my 5.9l cummins with no fuel in system? Thanks.

No. My lift pump went and I didn't know I wasn't getting fuel to my filter compartment.

As long as you didn't sit there trying to start it like a first gen on a cold morning. You should be fine. Change the pump, filter and check the lines to be safe.
