Default Electrical interference

Hey guys, new to the forum this will be my first post! I have an 02 5.9 24v. The truck is a 2500.. anyway I've been experiencing wierd things when I start it up on cold mornings. The lights on the dash will dim, and get bright again over and over. When the light dim the voltage gauges starts to drop. Possibly the alternator going out? I also get problems like the rpm gauge jumping around in small amounts and sometimes the whole torque converter lock up switching problem will happen. However I installed a noise isolator and that mostly takes care of that. I have a video of the guages acting up if I can figure out how to post it. Any advice helps, thanks in advance for any input!

Welcome! Your Cummins engine is cycling the grid heater while the engine is running in cold temps to reduce the white smoke output of the engine.

Everything is completely normal, and there is nothing wrong with your truck

Yeah it takes my truck a few seconds to make it up to 14v's on colder mornings. Nothing wrong just nature of the beast.
