Default 11' f250 6.7 lariat. When it rains, it pours

One thing after another. When I bought this truck 2 years ago I knew of thevproblems with the 6r40, and thought no problem I will just have that fixed with a valve body swap. 4 valve bodies and one year later here I sit with yet another junk valve body.
Now not only has the new valve body gone out but now there is a high-pitched whining noise at the peak of each gear. I've tried my best to track down any boost leaks and have ruled that out. I'm not sure where else to turn and I'm seriously considering a scrap yard to be done with this Powerstroke for good any tips hints help or advice would be greatly appreciated have a great day

That's exactly what I am thinking too but according to Ford motors these are just the characteristics of this transmission. The last valve body swap had less than 2000 miles on the new part and when taken back to the shop 4 Diagnostics Ford Motors confirmed yes it is the valve body but will not replace the new part. I'll think twice from now on about doing business with Ford motors

According to Ford motors because the transmission was under warranty for a year and the fourth valve body went out one week after that one year warranty was up, it could have had 50 miles on it and they still wouldn't have replaced it

They say there's absolutely nothing wrong with it, this is just one of the characteristics of this transmission. Im sorry, but you're not supposed to have a heartattack every time your rig swaps gears. My wife won't ride with me anymore because she says it feels like we've been rear-ended every time the tranny shifts up OR down....THRU EVERY GEAR

Take the truck to decent transmission shop & just tell them that your tranny is acting weird & how much would it cost to fix ??

Don't tell them all the issues you had with Ford, see what they tell you

Default UPDATE

Thursday morning leaving one jobsite and driving to the next, my transmission started acting "confused" jumping from first to third to sixth back to second l, so on and so forth, Then lost all forward gears as well as reverse. It now sits in mechanic yard waiting for them to "Get around to it". SMFH so done with ford
