Hi! I'm pretty new to owning a diesel. Im also a broke college student but also want to slowly tuning up my truck. Nothing crazy but I would like to have a truck with a little get up and go. So far, I have upgraded my lift pump and I have a edge comp. what would be the next step one would take? Again, somewhat limited budget and not trying to go crazy!

 

Do you have any transmission upgrades? If not I wouldn't run the comp to high or you will damage the transmission. Do you have any gauges to monitor vitals?

 

Yes I bought the truck with a 6 speed in it. And I have a fuel pressure gauge.
