1996 Dodge Ram 2500 automatic 270,000 miles. Gen check engine and all lights flash on and off the throttle and rpms jump and truck won't move. Then goes away and truck runs fine. Any ideas thanks in advance don't know much about them

 

Do you have a way to put a good scanner on it? Check and see if there are any ecm or body codes on. It sounds like there is a short somewhere of a real bad connection. Role under the truck and look at wires be best bet first
