Default CP3 experts chime in.

So here is my question. I just changed out my stock injectors for BBi stage 1s and I am using a smarty touch. I haven't gotten my larger turbo just yet so i know im not getting the most out of my fuel. But here is my curiosity. If my CP3 is keeping up with any demand i ask of it, then any upgrade to the pump wouldn't change anything, yes? For instance, a hard 6th gear pull from 55 to 90 , my truck just goes and the monitor showing rail pressure desired is mirrored by actual rail pressure. So upgrading by bag o parts or high performance CP3 later on isnt nessesary unlessl i am draining the rail?

I am not an expert but don't think you need one here- you are correct. The computer (tuned by Smarty) will tell the CP3 how much fuel is required for a given performance level on each tune. If you have the parameters and know the load desired rail pressure and it matches what your output/gauge is reading then an upgrade is not needed for the CP3. The more aggressive the tune the more fuel required which is where your larger injector tips, aftermarket fuel pump, and or CP3 upgrades Come in. With upgraded fuel pump like a FASS 150 some stock CP3 units may be able to push 650hp some will not make 550hp. It depends on CP3 condition and tuning parameters. If your rail pressure is down sometimes a filter change is all that is needed to help pick it back up

A fass will not help anything beside fuel filtration. Your stock cp3 is fine and don't ever but that bag of parts, its garbage
