I have a 2000 f350 7.3 4x4 i just replaced all 8 injectors, all 8 glow plugs, valve cover harnesses and gaskets. Im now throwing a p1316 code. I cant seem to figure out wats causing it. Truck runs good but has a slight miss at idle. Also im only getting 13psi max boost. If i use my edge to clear the code it just comes right back as soon as i clear it. So i changed the idm and it was worse so i assumed i had a bad idm. So i put the old idm back in and it runs great but still has the slight miss. Any help woukd b awesome

 

Did you check all the injector wiring? Assuming that the "old" idm you tossed back in was in good working condition, I would start looking into the injector wiring.

 

Yes i pulled the entire harness that goes from the 42pin block across the top of the motor and went through it with a fine tooth comb and even ohmed out the harness. All harnesses look good. I think it could still b a bad idm or even a bad injectir
