I was pulling a trailer to florida and got on the gas pedal and heard a light pop. Instantly I noticed the turbo was much much louder. Now when I stomp the pedal I'm only getting about half the psi. The passing gear is pretty much gone. Not sure if something just blew off that holds pressure on the turbo or what. It is a 05 6.0 has egr delete, new oil cooler, new hpop, and glow plugs. Please I would appreciate any help

 

check your boost tubes and see if any of the blue silicone hoses are off or torn, also check your intercooler ends and see if it came apart.

 

Found a large crack in Turbo intercooler pipes driver side. Order the alpha dog get on Amazon for $125. About to put it on now thanks a lot

 

Had the hot side pipe blow off the intercooler about a month ago due to a loose clamp....i knew exactly what happened right away but it sure does wake you up! Kinda wish the turbo sounded like that all the time, it's pretty much the coolest sound ever
