Air intake sensor, what its function? I have a Fummins and wonder if I need to hook it up? The 5.9 motor is a 91.5.

It tells the PCM when to turn on the grid heaters.

Depends on what your engine came out of.
On my Ford sourced unit the temp sensor in the intake cover connects to the KSB to control timing when cold.
No PCM on this set up.
