Hello all! Im starting a towing business and bought a 1989 IH with a DT466. 5 speed 2speed rear end.

My main question is are these ok for long highway use with the 2 speed rear? just drove it home about a 60 mile trip and just was screaming. i was on the pedal the whole time.

Anything I should watch out for?

Additives for winter?

Or anything that will give the pig more power?

Hello! Thanks for the help. On the gas the whole time on the highway. like pedal to the floor to maintain speed. Its old and weathered but seems strong just slower.
