Default 97 shifting too quick

Have a 97 automatic the girlfriend bought about five years ago to tow her gooseneck horse trailer. She says the transmission shifts all the gears really fast. She was told that it had a heavy duty transmission put in it before she bought it, but who really knows! Was hoping to find out if there was anything out there that will spread the shifting points out a little more? Thank you for your time

the best chip on the market today for the 7.3 is the PHP hydra. the TS is ok but it is outdated technology and a pain in the *** to change tunes if you want to. the tunes that come with it are junk. so by the time you buy custom tunes its not much more to buy the hydra.
