Hey guys, new here. I have a 2006 single cab Cummins. I'm looking to swap my 48re for a g56. I'm more than open to trades or ideas. Any input would help. I'm willing to drive to you within reason. I'm sick of the auto, if anyone out there wants to trade please let me know. Otherwise I'm looking for info on what I would need to complete this swap. My 48re recently had a stock rebuild maybe a year ago with a billet torque converter installed.

 

I am in same boat!! I'm looking to swap mine!! I'm trying to get In touch with a few guys about the conversion. I know drive lines need to be lengthened. I heard u can keep tcase just need to change input shaft to 29spline and few others

 

I made the dive. Decided to do a zf6 swap. Going to be harder but I couldn't pass the deal up. Just have to get the adapter plate and I can start to get things rolling.
