Default Engine noise under load

Hello all,

I have an 08 6.7 liter, 6 speed manual. After bringing to operating temperature and pulling my 12,900 lb. fifth wheel I hear a ticking like noise that almost sounds like a manifold exhaust leak midway thru excelerating that goes away after engine RPM's go over about 2,000. Engine has 193,500 miles but great oil pressure and doesn't use a drop of oil. Anyone else ever had this or can tell me what it might be that I'm hearing?

I've never had this happen to my rig but read a thread about that same thing- retorq/check manifold bolts- one may have backed out on ya and be leaking air
