I need of some help.
I have a 2005 Ford 6.0. Great truck when it runs well.
The back story is I sent the truck in to get head studs/updated high pressure oil stuff done, clean the turbo etc. that truck come back and runs great. I put a tuner on it, Looney Tunes to be exact. Runs strong fun to drive. This last maybe 2 weeks, now here is my issue.
After it was tuned I noticed it suddenly did not have as much off the line and you really need to put your foot into it once it hits 50 to 60 to get the boost up.

I took the chip off, same thing. A bit sluggish off the line with black smoke and the same when cruzing at 50 MPH and you give it 2/3 throttle (not enough to down shift) black smoke comes and the boost will not go over 10 PSI. Basically it over fuels non chipped.

Me - I purchase a new EGR valve and been needing an excuse to upgrade the turbo to the new Garret Powermax so I did that.
The exact issue still exists.

The weird part is the the truck is still sluggesh off the line, but the 50MPG smoking problem does not always happen but most of the time.

No check engine lights. If your foot is in it I can boost 28PSI or so.


Sensor issue? Thoughts?
