I am new to the diesel word and to this forum so any help would be great. I just bought a 1991 d250 with a 5 speed in it. For some reason the fuel gauge is all over the place on minute I'm full the next its empty (on the gauge). Where should I start to fix this problem.

 

start by checking all ground wires making sure they have good contact with bare metal
