We have owned our 1997 F350 since '98. The engine quit right at 300,000 a couple of years ago and we have gotten a factory rebuilt motor to replace it with. We've gotten the old one out but the new one is not quite going in- hitting the motor mount and the firewall just barely. Does anyone have any suggestions short of dropping the tranny? We have a hoist but it doesn't give us the option of tilting it at all.
