2004 5.9 24 valve Cummings smarty tuner all of a sudden develop a bad knocking noise every thing looks good oil pressure no check engine light went away for a bit now it's back any ideas what it could b no metal in oil pan or filter

 

Ya unplug your pressure control regulator on the back side of your cp3 it will run rough then but the knocking should quit that is just to see if that sensor regulator is bad or not if the knocking quits go order you a new regulator

 

Stuck injector, rod bearing

 

Tried the unplugging of fuel regalator didn't help. Was told to creak injector lines nothing changed but when I cracked 6 th one the truck shuts of almost instantly what does that mean?

 

Means that's a good one! So the knock never went away?

 

No knock never went away

 

Rod bearing will get lighter when fuel is shut off to that cylinder. Don't crack the fuel lines remove valve cover and unhook one injector at a time!
