Hey guys. I'm looking at a 12v out of a 93 school bus with 127,000 miles on it for $1000 dollars. I'm planning on putting it in a 76 f250 Highboy. Didn't know if there was anything I should know about that's different from a bus 12v that would be better or worse then a pickup 12v. Any pointers you guys could give me would sure be appreciated.

 

thats a pretty good buy, while its out drop the oil pan check the main and rod bearings for any scars or bad wear check the turbo for any shaft play, other than that with that low if miles its a score.
