I have a 1959 Chevy Viking C60 body on 1991 International 4700 chassis w/ DT360 and Eaton FSO-6406 I am trying to put together within the next couple months. I am of course wanting to get the engine around 500hp. So I started by recently purchasing a p7100 pump off a 95 DT466 and now need advise or a suggestion for a shop that will modify and bench flow it for me to meet my goal. I have asked around and most places I have contacted are not interested in the work. Really need the advise on what to buy for injectors and turbo as well. Any advise or suggestions for a reputable shop is much appreciated.
I would look at using readily available 6BT turbos, and the usual p-pump mods. It is the same displacement after all. Not sure what the DT360 uses for injectors, but if upgraded replacements aren't available, different/custom tips can probably be put on them.
Hi mike2, I saw this old post of yours and wanted to see if you ever got your Viking up and running. I have a 1959 GMC that has a DT360 with the Allison transmission. I thought I was the only one on the planet! I'd like to see an image of your truck if you still have it. ~Barry
