Default Need help! 1st gen Cummins street truck

Hey,

I'm new to this forum/diesel performance in general. I decided to buy my first 1st gen (1991) to turn into a street truck, but also have some fun on the track. Right now the truck is completely stock except for the bd diesel fuel pin. I would like to be somewhere in the 500-600hp range. What would be some good upgrades while not breaking the bank( better off spending money in one area over another?). Like I said, I'm new to this, and researching turbos has my head hurting . Any help is appreciated!!

500-600 hp will break your bank with a 1st gen, your looking at 5-7 thousand US dollars that is to get a 600 hp 1st gen.
