Just bought a 2012 f350 lariat fully loaded, gotta say this thing is sweet. I didnt know at first other wise ida asked at the dealer but the key i have for it is just a regular ford key with the lock unlock remoat seperate. My friend who has the same truck showed me his key and the key itself has the lock unlock buttons and start on it. And he told me the key im using is the spare?

So my question is what do i have to do to get the right key and program it. Can i program the key myself since i dont have a master key? Or is this somthing ford has to do. And does anyone kno the price?

 

You would need to see if the alarm/remote start were installed from the factory. I didn't think the older remotes would work.

 

You can program your own key, but you need to have two keys to program the third key
