Evening everyone. Ive got some new seals for the banjo fuel line that's been giving me trouble and to my surprise after removing the bolt there were no seals on it! I replaced the seals and iam attempting to screw the bolt back on but cant get the threads to start. I can barely get my hand in there but i can turn the bolt just barely but the threads never catch. Ive cleaned and inspected the threads and they look fine. Iam begining to think that's why the previous owner left them off. Also is there a gasket/seal inside the fitting? on the fuel pump. If anyone has any suggestion please chime in.

 

It's a PITA sometimes, but I am 99% sure the seals should be in place
