I know that not everyone uses Facebook, but there is a page created there with a poll to determine the public's interest in seeing these re-manufactured. There's currently enough interest there to warrant production. However, the low volume would put the prices around $100 per set (base & top) plus shipping. We need more people to show interest so that we can get the price down to the $45 range.

The Left Mount is a 2nd Gen base that actually fits the 1st Gen very nicely ...











And for those of us who REALLY like gauges, as you can see, 2 of the 5 Pods will fill the dash !!!









NOTE: These are NOT being produced yet. We need everyone to show their interest so that an accurate cost can be determined. At which point, a separate "for sale" post will be made in the proper forum and according to the site rules.

 

We're making progress on these. There's currently enough interest to get prices down to $70 for a 3 or 4 pod, and $80 for a 5 pod. I hope to meet with the company next week that will be producing these for us. I'll keep everyone posted here.

 

I have a meeting with the company on this Thursday to finalize some production details. After that, the funding campaign will be created.

 

Meeting went well. They'll have final prices to me sometime next week.

The company came back to me with production costs that were 3X their original quote.

This week I started working with a new company for the production of these.
